We are England's greenest city, with over 150 woodlands and 50 public parks and are just one hour away from other major cities such as Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham.

 

The Peak District National Park

One third of Sheffield is situated in the Peak District, England’s first and most popular National Park.

The beautiful, unspoilt countryside and unique culture and history make it a delight to visit. Many places of interest, such as typical Derbyshire villages and fine, historic mansions, are within half an hour of the city centre.

It is a superb area for sightseeing, walking and a variety of outdoor activities and has many historical and literary connections.
